Good Bye, Good Riddance 2008!

Sweet Jesus! Are y’all as fucking happy as I am that 2008 is over? This year has basically sucked ass for me. Yeah, I have some bright spots. Learning a new skill. Other than being pretty much insane, I’m healthy. Gas prices have gone down. I have some absolutely fabulous friends in “real life” and in Blogland. My daughter’s been cancer free for over two years. Giggles had a healthy baby girl. My son is working full-time. I still have a job and Mulder has one, too. There’s some other things but I’m a glass half-empty kind of person unless the glass is half-full of Guinness then I know I’m feeling happy. Anyway, my con side of the scale is weightier than the pro side. So, I’m looking forward to kicking 2008 to the curb and jumping on 2009 with gusto!

I figure everyone will be off drinking, partying and recovering this week so I’m going to wait until next week to post another installment of “Rocky.” Don’t whine. It’s not attractive.

Back in April John-Michael tagged me with a MeMe. I’m going to do it now followed by the MeMe DJ Kirkby tagged me with in May. Yeah, yeah! I know I’m slow but better late than never.

Well, well...I'm first. Seems a bit appropriate. You are absolutely right about this last year. But here's a real bright spot...Your feisty attitude. Your emotional support. Your woman's curves. Your willingness to jump right in. Your moaning, groaning voice.

And think...I haven't even fucked you yet, Byrd...:) Ah, yes...the promise of the New Year.

I have to tell ya, when I read that if you were a billionaire that you would be free my first thought was, "I wonder what she charges now?" C;P Have a happy (and fun) New Year!

YES!!! I am so TOTALLY ready for 2009!

I can't say that 2008 has been negative for me in any specific way, but feeling the overall "pins and needles" that's been going on in the world the past year, has been draining.

I honestly feel that 2009 will slowly begin to turn things around, so I feel really postive about the upcoming year and look forward to it!

Hey...and thanks for letting us know about Giggle's baby girl!!! I'm so damn excited I could SHIT!! I haven't noticed a post on my reader, so I'm very glad you shared that. Thanks!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Sis!

And please know just how grateful I am to have met you this year. You've been such a special blessing in my life!

You're a AWESOME lady!

And I really mean that!!!

And if you do decide to come to England - let me know, I'll share a bowl of my blackberries with you....

Good luck for the new year, n I adore blackberries, we grow cultivated ones in our garden, they're huge, you'd love 'em..

Ron ~ Things do look better when you are just starting. I hope to keep them that way this year. Thanks for being there!

craig andrew ~ I charge a lot. But I'm definitely worth it!

Ron ~ I'm grateful to have met you, too. You always brighten my days. Giggle's baby was announced by her Aunt Trixie and it was like getting a wonderful Christmas gift!

Dazza ~ You're welcome. I do like to find out about my blogging friends. I just always wonder if they want to find out more about me. :D

FC ~ That damned one second - torture! LOL Thank you, I'm looking forward to your writing this year as well.

Akelamalu ~ Hope springs eternal. I'm a pessimistic optimist.

flyinfox ~ Thanks, hun! I definitely will need some prosperity this year. I know Nickelback is touring again. I must get tickets in order to continue "rocking!"

Jackie ~ I've been reading you for awhile now and know that your year has been good. I think that is so wonderful because you're extremely talented and deserve to be recognized. I'll definitely contact you when I come to the UK. If you got blackberries, you got me!

Annie ~ Mr. Stallone was charming! He was gracious and so handsome. My shock was how short he is. Meeting him, and all the Bee Gees was really amazing.

Spiky ~ Glad you liked the post. I cannot believe that Hef would ask a hottie like yourself to leave! How rude!

Bedside TalesMan ~ I don't think your, "Who's Nuttier" list was too over the top! I'm with you on the tomato/salsa deal. :) Thank you for coming by.

Autumn ~ I'm very glad to have you for a blogger friend. I love your writing! 2009 HAS to be better, I just know it!

Riff ~ You are such a sweet talker! A favor for a friend is always a pleasure.

Indigo ~ You are one of my favorite people in Blogland and that you fell in love and are loved was one of my 2008 bright spots. Like I told Jackie, if you got blackberries - you got me! A threesome while eating blackberries would be heaven. ;)

Cake ~ Thanks! A fab year is wished for you, too!

LIR ~ The same to you. I hope 2009 will bring you everything you desire. I picked up the award and will do the rest shortly.

I'm still lost in vacation photos. But if I get a free few minutes I will do this meme sometime. Of course you are fascinating!!
Best wishes for a bright, healthy, happy, safe, wonderful, naughty, fun, loving and prosperous New Year. You deserve it all. :)

I'm a bit late getting here...but happy new year! So driving a stick shift is unusual in America? You'll hardly find an automatic car here in the uk.

Happy New Year hon! I have been a sucky blog friend lately by not blogging and not reading blogs. I'll try to be better!

I hope you are all doing well!
