Send some good thoughts, please!

You know that I have a deep affection for Australia and her people. Please send good thoughts, positive energy, prayers and contributions (if you can) to the people of Australia affected by these devastaing bush fires. While Victoria is burning, Queenland is flooding.

With everything else going on in the world, I think we've seriously pissed off Mother Nature in the last few years.

Thanks everyone!

Thank you.. warm thoughts are very appreciated, the death toll is now over 125, 750 homes at least destroyed, not to mention our beautiful bush, native animals and all the burn victims in hospital.

I am fortunate enough not to live close, but close enough to feel for all of those affected, directly and indirectly.

The world's weather doesn't make any sense at the moment. It is quite frightening.
Yep I'm definately thinking about my friends in Oz and all those that are suffering right now.

I love Australia. Although I have no idea how they can understand each other when they talk. ;)

I'm beamimg them good thoughts, which will hopefully move the rains to the fires.

It's just terrible what is happening in Aus - my thoughts are with the people there.

It is sad to see stuff like this happen. You would think that we would come up with a method of piping the flood waters to where the fires are....

I hope the bloody well catch whoever was lighting the fires...they will be charged with mass murder.

yes.honey I have given and I have sent my prayers and thought out to them.

It's terrible. It's worse than the Los Anegeles fires. The deaths...There are so many. I feel for those that lost their lives and for the loved ones that grieve for them.

It's so very sad.

ciao honey.

Hope that they get the fires out quickly. That arsonist should be sentenced to life in prison at the very least.

They now estimate up to 300 will die or have already died. There are 173 confirmed but they have not been able to access homes and areas nor account for people that are missing. NZ is on alert for burns victims if our hospitals cannot cope. The weather does not make sense at all, I agree, extreme temps here and so cold in other places in the world.

I cried last night for an entire 30 minutes watching the news, its just devistating.

Every state in Australia is helping by sending supplies and fire fighters. The destruction is unbelievable, everywhere I go people are watching, waiting, reading, so sad for all the victims.

I am sure all the thoughts and donations are appreciated. I for one find them helpful and I do not even live where it is happening, but the sadness from everyone throughout our nation is consuming.

Thank you all.

Thank you so much, everyone. Rosie, I've been reading feeds from the Australian/Melbourne papers, I cry everyday.

I've been talking to Amelia. She lives in a town that has been skirted by the fires but she is okay. Her worry is a friend in Churchill, a town that has been nearly wiped out. She can't get in touch with him. Keep a good thought, please.

There's an AP photo on the net now of a fireman giving a koala a drink from his water bottle in a burned out area. It is one of the most touching pictures I've ever seen.

Keep sending good thoughts, prayers, money, whatever down under.

Love you guys!

Autumn, I'm goin' over right now!

Oh yes, I saw that photo...

I am glad Amelia is ok and I hope to the bottom of my heart that her friend is ok.
