Happy Father's Day!

Old as she was, she still missed her daddy sometimes.

A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

So true but far less common these days apart from the very young children

I would have You know the arms of comfort ... eyes of adoration ... the smile of amused appreciation ... and the laughter of endearing joy. If these are not to be your lot from the Person of your Father, today ... then please accept the poor substitute of all of those ... from a Loving Friend.

I love You!

Hey bunny...I love that. When his arms are empty. Oh...that sounds wonderful. I love to have my arms will with a loved one every chance I get.

I hope your Sunday is fabulous.
ciao babes.

I miss my Dad all the time. It's been since '99 for him and '95 for Mom but they are in my thoughts so often.

Lovely sentiment...I should cherish the fact that the kids still run to me! One day they won't be interested any more.

LIR ~ Yes, it is true. But at least we have the sweet memories of the little ones coming into our arms. Those help when the big ones get on our last nerve. Don't they?

john-michael ~ Thank you, John-Michael. As always you've said (and truly mean) something that has touched my heart.

spiky ~ Hey, babe! Hope you enjoyed your time off.

trixie ~ Yes, it does. Most heartfelt sentiments will apply to whomever we love dearly.

crystalchick ~ It's funny in a way that I think of my father everyday. He's been dead since 1960, I was only 7 years old. The cardinals that fill my yard are reminders because that was his favorite bird. It's good we have those thoughts, isn't it?

flyinfox ~ Thanks!

cake ~ Yeah, I do agree. The picture is a beautiful one, though.

emmak ~ Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Girls are way better at the hugging thing then boys. My son will every so often but my daughter is always looking for a hug and she's 30!

giggle! ~ :-D XXX Right back atcha!

sage and ron ~ Thank you very much!
