Merry Christmas, y'all!

"Ghost of the Future," he exclaimed, "I fear you more than any spectre I have seen. But as I know your purpose is to do me good, and as I hope to live to be another man from what I was, I am prepared to bear you company, and do it with a thankful heart. Will you not speak to me?"
~ Ebenezer Scrooge

merry belated!

scrooge has always been a part of me, the question is, is it the pre- or post-ghost scrooge?

We love going to Dickens Village in Philadelphia. We went twice this year, once with our grandson and then just the two of us so we could stop and see the displays and read the story boards a little better. A 4 year old doesn't really give one time to do that. haha
We watched A Christmas Carol movie too, Ron says it doesn't feel like the holidays until we do. He likes the version with Patrick Stewart.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas. Wishing you peace and joy in the NEW YEAR. xo

Ron ~ Hope your Christmas was very merry! Well, I know it was 'cause I read your blog!

Akelamalu ~ Thank you! Hope yours was very happy!

Indi ~ Nah, never too late! Hope yours was merry and that the new year will bring fabulous things for you!

phoenix ~ Like Indi, better late than never. Scrooge and The Grinch were always my Christmas favorites. Pre and Post!

CrystalChick ~ Being up north, I'd always be able to muster up some Christmas spirit. In Florida, not so much. I need the weather and the smells. Dickens Village sounds awesome! I'm partial to the George C. Scott version and the Bill Murray one!

Mass Hole Mommy ~ Hey, thanks for stopping by! Hope your Christmas and New Years was rockin'. It's NEVER too early to be thinking about Halloween!
