I'm right there with you. I normally liove Christmas but this year it just isn't working for me at all. The fact that I've had the 'flu for the last couple of weeks probably doesn't help.
If you don't choose to buy in to the tacky consumer-fest that the season has been hyped up to be then it is easy to feel like you are on the outside looking in, while those around you are all having a better time than you. It is all an illusion, though. Nobody was happier for long because they spent more than they could afford or ate more than was good for them.
Let's just agree together to shrug off this Christmas, write it off as a bad job, pack the tinsel away for another year and look forward to a better 2011.
Loved the video, by the way, so thanks for that. it made me literally laugh out loud.
I am getting there! LOL - I am ready for school to start back up already. :)
