Even a crazy bitch like me has a bit of altruism in her heart. The two I'll be adding later are near and dear to me. This is a new one

You know that breast cancer has touched my life. Unfortunately, it has also touched many of my friends and people in their lives. Finding a cure is so important, not only for women but men as well. PLEASE go to Girl Gone Thread Wild and donate.

October is not only Breast Cancer Awareness month but it's also "Proctober." Men, go and get your prostate exam. Ladies, go get your mammogram. Just fucking DO IT!

I'm not an Oprah fan but happened to catch her show recently. The story about Angel's Gate had me in tears. I visited the Angel's Gate and even though I'm piss poor at the moment, I signed up for a monthly donation. This is an incredible place. Since I don't love as many people as I do animals, I NEEDED to do this. I hope y'all will stop by the site.

The economy sucks. Yeah, I know that as well as everyone. Sometimes you just have to give, even a little wee bit, just to reach out. Your one dollar just might be the one to help someone that desperatly needs help, find the cure, comfort a dying kitten.

(No need for anyone to attend church this weekend. You've just been preached to at The Temple of The Dust Bunny!)

11 blew out from under the bed:

You know, I wanted to start something like this here in Chicago...but frankly, I don't know any other bloggers here in the city with our 'interests'.

I get a prostate exam every year. Just for fun. :-)

(But in all seriousness, since colon cancer gallops through my family, I do get a prostate exam every year, and a colonoscopy every 5 years. But good reminder, NB!)

I just got MASSIVE chills when I saw the angel gate one!!!

You have NO IDEA!

I saw a clip about it on an Oprah episode AGES ago and absolutely keeled over with devastation at the sight of the poor animals in suffering and in need of help. It was so damn heart breaking I cried for weeks, even still today about it!

But then they showed this ABSOLUTE ANGEL of a woman that is so selfless and gives these animals the best life to the best of her ability and expects nothing in return for it! She's incredible!!!

As soon as I saw it I thought
"Right! I want to do what ever I can to support that woman and I also want to write her a letter about how much she touched me!!!"

But not long after the show finished, I couldn't for the life of me remember the name!!!! I searched EVERYWHERE on the net and couldn't find anything!! I was so distraught about it! ANd I only JUST gave up searching after months and months the other day!

But here it is... IN YOUR POST!!!

ANGEL GATESSSSS!!!!! Of Course!!! What else would it be called LOL!!!

Thank you Nite... I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!

And did you say that you've actually BEEN THERE??? MY GOD tat must have been SOOO overwhelming!!

I'm so excited... I can't even continue with my blogreading today! I'm gonna head to her website right NOW!!!!! xxxxxxx

Really cool post. I think even in this economy we can all do just a little tiny bit more. Things come back much bigger than they went out too, so I'm sure something really nice is headed your way soon. :)

Why do I think your sermon on the "mount" might be of a different kind?

I feel healed!
